Flaws and all
The Marriam-Webster dictionary defines a flaw as a defect in
physical structure or form; an imperfection or weakness and especially one that
detracts from the whole or hinders effectiveness.
Are you...
Flawed with addiction?
Flawed with homosexuality?
Flawed with fornication?
Flawed with low self-esteem?
Flawed with failing?
Flawed with disfigurement?
Flawed with insecurities?
Flawed with trust issues?
Flawed with unfaithfulness?
Flawed with adultery?
Flawed with gossiping?
Flawed with Identity issues?
Do you believe that because of your flaws God does not love you? So your flawed with homosexuality. You think that God is so ashamed of you that you'll never be able to get out of this lifestyle? Do you believe that your imperfections, the skeletons in your closet you keep locked away, the struggles you keep hidden, the tipping out on a late night to get a fix, are so great that it's greater than the God we serve? Are you so worried that your struggle with pornography, your lying tongue, your stealing hands, being promiscuous, is so low that not even God can reach down in that dark and dingy pit and rescue you from your flaws? Well you are wrong God loves you flaws and all.
No one is perfect but God. Everyone has struggles and flaws they have overcome and have yet to accept and deal with. Why do we as women feel the
need to constantly compare ourselves to one another? We spend so much of our
time focused on how flawless another woman may seem to be versus what flaws we
have. We are constantly in prayer asking God to remove this flaw and that flaw
because we’re afraid that we are the only flawed being. Not knowing that the
woman you want to be like struggles with insecurities or struggles with identity issues. How long will it take for us to realize that we are who we are? God
loves us no matter what. You will NEVER be the woman that sits next to you in
church on Sunday. You can only be the person God created you to be. You'll never be flawless. If
that were the case there would be no such thing as a "FLAW".
Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God"
If you were flawless you would have no testimony. If you were flawless you would not be able to witness to women with the same struggle. If you were flawless there'd be no reason for you here on Earth.
The only thing you can do about your flaws is identiify them and ask God to remove anything in you that is not like Him. Know that we are all a work in progress. If you stay focused on what the next woman does not struggle with, it will only magnify and shed a negative light on your flaws and make you more aware and paranoid about the imperfections you carry.
Stop living in a troubled state of mind and know that 1 Peter 5:7 says “Casting all your cares upon him; for He careth for you.” Stop thinking that God won't deliver you. Stop thinking that God does not love you. Of course He does...He created you!
He loves you FLAWS and ALL!!!!!
